Arts Education and the WWW: Tools and Thinkdocs
The web has created wonderful opportunities for arts education professionals to widen and deepen their program impact.
In fact, there are so many tools and strategies swirling around in the virtual space, that one can feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the scope of possibilities.
Here is a link to resources, tool, strategy and thinking about the web and tools to use it. There are resources for beginners, sample vidcasts and podcasts, philosophical ruminations, student samples, discussions of trends, etc. It is a wonderful resource site.
Have a good time!

Great link! Wish I found about this resource sooner.
I recently went to speak with an old guitar teacher/friend of mine when my wife and I went home one weekend. It would seem that in recent years that they managed to "pimp their school" with some rather high-end video equipment (much so that morning annoucements are done via video conferencing throughout the school) and audio equipment (for recording and live performance.) With all of that, something like this resource could be an add-on to their programming.
I'll pass it on. Thanks for posting this!
